in KL

So, I'm sat in my hotel room, it's 6.42, and there is an amazing sun rise going on behind me. Unfortunately since I didn't plan on any sightseeing, I've only got my 2mp camera phone with me.

I'll see what I can do, but I'm no Ansel Adams.

I'll post it later.

Anyway, today I am in KL. I'm doing a training course (and no, not on the bike) this part of my plan for the future me. I need a real job, one that will provide good stability for our future.

So, I'm here, spending a fortune, and going to work hard like a good little school boy.

I shall keep you posted.

Happy 5th Month

Hey Monty,

Happy 5th Month Birthday!

Wow, time has come round so fast, I don't know where it has gone. Our wee son, has just turned 5 months.

Last night, was his first time that he slept in his cot all by himself. I think it was a harder for his Mum than it was for him.

On Saturday we bought a book called the Baby Whisperer, very good.

Not that Monty was doing anything wrong, we were.

Accidental parenting they call it, and we weren't being that far off. Just little things. Like picking him up when crying. It's very easy to do, and very comforting to both baby and parents, but after reading just 1 chapter of this book, my wife and I, had the bed to ourselves last night. Don't think she enjoyed it.

Well, it's time for a change, we've moved him from a 3 hour schedule to a 4 hour one. It's not to bad for him, probably harder for us, and his mother-in-law.

First Mile Stone

Took my little lad (4 1/2 months) swimming for the first time today.

He did me proud.

The teacher kept using him for demos', and he performed amazingly in his first solo swim.

Covering around 2 metres.

I am one proud father.

Busy

Well, I've been really busy of late.

I'm studying QMS, and have a full time training job in large computer company.

The weather has been totally crap, why does it always rain/snow/sleet on the weekends?

I've seen lots of things of late which I want to blog about. Most of it is whinging which is very unlike me.

Even after being here for 7 years, there are still some things which I dislike, these normally come under the rules of manners, politeness and just downright general thoughts for others.

This is all seriously lacking in this country.

Anyway, enough of my vent.

I'll finish with my normal vow, I'll update more often.
